"(...)No, I'm simply saying that life, uh... finds a way."

Ian Malcolm.
Wearing black, old pessimist, deadpan humour, cool guy. One of my very first idols. :P
Spontaneously drawn since Michael Crichtons birthday is coming up (R.I.P) - homage to both book and movie (therefore you go with an oldschool raptor, all scaly and with broken wrists-anatomy. :P )

Ian Malcolm (c) created by Michael Crichton, portrayed by Jeff Goldblum in the Jurassic Park movies. (gotta love both Malcolm and Goldblum. Yes.)
...
Oh, the childhood memories. D:

Love this guy in the movie. Hated him in the book.

Seriously, in the book, you could leave him out and the plot would be the exact same. At leat in the movie he was funny.

I love Ian Malcolm! I really only liked the first Jurassic Park movie because it had my two favorite characters in it. The other two were great movies but each of them had only one of my favorite characters in them.

P.S. My favorite characters are Ian Malcolm and Alan Grant.

Even after all these years JP still is my favorite movie. Funny, though fictional, Alan Grant was one of my role models. Love dinosaurs and hate kids. Can't see Sam Neil with out making a Jp joke. And of course the velociraptor, my favorite dino of all time. I remember telling my mom when I was little (I was 8 when the movie came out) I wasnt scared of the trex but the raptors because they could open doors!

Lol, Unfortunately the movie had no Velociraptors. Plenty of Utahraptors though.

Yes, true velociraptors are much smaller then the ones in the movie.

I wanted to believe for the longest time... Paleontology studies denied my childhood fantasy.
