Chamberlain, bloody bastard - and favourite character of the movie. Such a classic. Though i thought it was the scariest movie when i was a child. Random fanart.

I've heard there is a sequel coming. I'm...scared of it.

WHAT A GREAT JOB, CULPEO! ^^
I love The Dark Crystal, and the Chamberlain is my favorite character from it!
The Dark crystal and prticularly the skeksis re what inspired meto become an artisan and drawing artist! ^^<3
I was the kind of weird kid who LOVED that movie...I remember sitting with a huge grin on my face, watching it, while some friends of my age were literally screaming their faces off and yeling for their mothers XD
I never will guess why, but I fet instantly drawn to the skeksis as design, race and etc. They were supposed to be "nightmare fuel" but I found them somehow sympathetic, cool to look at and (yes), beautiful in their own strange way! :D

Your drawing truly makes the Chamberlain justice! His creepy and sly grin (a very foxy gesture indeed!) is perfectly caught! VERY WELL DONE! ^^

Glad you like it! Same with me here, the Chamberlain is my favourite as well (there is a McFarlane figure of him standing around on my shelf :P ). Though, i have to be honest: The movie scared me shitless when i was little, like so many - yet, i couldn't help but totally fall for it the same time (80s-movies were amazing at bringing us kids to dark territory and i LOVED it) - what i adore and appreciate even more now, being an adult, is just the shere beauty of its artisan craft and concept stories/art, that goes along with it. Many years ago, i was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the art books and it's just pure inspiration. :)

I have that figure indeed *tho it was never released in my land so I had to make a huge mess to obtain it! XD *
HAHAH , I won't ever blame you for having been scared: most kids were: only freaky children (like I admittedly was) were happy to watch those darker, sinister movies from the 80's ^^
Indeed, I agree: as an adult, it's even more fscinating to see the beautiful and mindful artisan craftry required to build and give everything an illusion of gbeing organic and alive...the sets were incredible too! :D
The concepts, mythological bases from many cultures and the plotline (and all which got sadly unseen and untold but gets clarified at the beautiful book "World of the dark crystal")...it's impossible to not love it! ^^
I'm glad to find another fan (and one as talented as you are! )

Sometimes I wonder what in the world inspired Brian to create Chamberlain. The entire world of Dark Crystal actually. He has such wicked cool artwork.

I remember my mother telling me not to watch Dark Crstal because "You'll have nightmares!" Watched it anyways. Totally had nightmares. :la:

Oh god I loved watching that movie too. And apparently I watched it so much that my mother ended up hating Chamberlain's "MMMmmmm."

So, of course, when I found that out I bought my mother a little Chamberlain model for Christmas. :la:

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
as soon as I read the title I immediately knew who it was.
WOW. That face haunted my every nightmare and I LOVED IT
Funny, I always remembered this movie being so violent and chaotic as a child, but I recently watched it and it wasn't as bad as I made it out to be. Great Job recreating the character.

even though, this movie was creepy and somewhat scary... its a wonderful piece.
I cant wait to see PART 2 of this movie... alot of times, I tend to wonder if they will ever make
PART 2's of the movies we all grew up to.
