... a.k.a dog breeds.


A good bunch of all existing dog breeds wouldn't be able to survive without man thanks to all their anomalies and genetic disorders as a result from incest for the sake of "pure breeding" (heck, some of those (like the English Bulldog) aren't even able to reproduce or give birth to their litters without help anymore. The thought alone is just disgraceful.)

Inspired by a pug that came across my way some time ago. It was rattling like crazy, a pity to look at. The owner's reaction? "OMG, Willy, usocute!"

God, why do they have to produce even more complete overbred cripples. I can't stand most dog breeds (or dogs in general) and seeing how batshit crazy people went with dog breeding doesn't make it any better (and WHY do you even have to continue this bullshit with cats, too? At first we only had these ugly persians and hideous hairless sphynx cats, now there are those so called munchkins and kangaroo cats. Just...don't. We fucked up the dogs and gold fishes already. And as always, it is the animals who suffer. For what. For "beauty"?)

If you happen to own a breed on the list above, please don't feel offended by that. I know that this could be a very delicate topic and i respect your opinions whatever these may be. Same goes for my opinions, though. And these would be: Health first. Then character. And THEN you can think of outer appearance (also: No. I'm not lumping all breeders of the world together here. There is more than black and white. Fact is, though, that some actually went way too far with pure breeding and standards as so many pitiful canine individuals show everyday.)

Speaking of the German Sherpherd:
The critter satirised here is the showdog version with that total overbred slanting butt/back. The working dog versions at least do have some normal anatomy...

Dog breeds had a purpose at one point in time and i'm totally fine with that. It's the show dogs i despise and where everything went overboard.
