some foxes from the danish story "det röde kobbel", written by svend fleuron (here in germany known as "die rote koppel; the english translation may be "the red pack")

i read the book once again for fun... ;)

the novel tells the story of an old male fox, who raises four fox pups alone, because they lost their mother. those four foxes - called tutetue, the butcher, the runner and the barker - become extremely wild, cruel and bloody like their foster-father...

the story is quite interesting i have to say (and sometimes kinda absurd. but interesting!) and yes, sad indeed. all the foxes die in that story.
