Reading your livejournal education has been a rather educational experience for me. I, till I read you journal, had no idea taxidermy plushies existed. Now that I know they do, I can definitely respect your viewpoint. I'm not overly concerned myslef with what people do with their time and money, but I don't think I'd ever get one.

wow, irwie verstehe ich das ja. ich selbst habe zuhause auch ein fuchsfell. also das du auch mehr fuchsfelle hast finde ich nicht schlimm. und das sie das mädchen da präariert haben verstehe ich irwie auch da der vater sie nicht "Gehen lassen" wollte. Ich würde das mit meiner Katze au machen wenn sie sterben würde, keine ahnung warum. So hat man das Gefühl das die person/Tier immer da ist. Aber das dass so wie "Spielzeug" betrachtet wird (die ausgestopften tiere) finde ich doch wirklich unter aller sau. es sind schließlich echte tiere, auch wenn sie tot sind, sind sie dennoch echt und haben mal gelebt.

Es is doch immer wieder erstaunlich, welche Musik du hörst... Das Lied dudelt bei mir in letzter Zeit auch rauf und runter... Abgesehen davon dass der Film klasse ist!

Indeed. Präarierte Tiere zu Lernzwecken sind fast ausschließlich Tiere, die eines "natürlichen" Todes gestorben sind (verhungert, Krankheit, etc.), einige wenige sind auch überfahren worden. Ich finde die Tiere für Lernzwecke auch nicht falsch oder verkehrt (unsere Biologielehrerin hat damals sogar Leute aus dem Unterricht gekickt, die keinen Respekt vor den toten Tieren gezeigt haben).
Was ich eher schlimm finde sind halt diese "Plüschtiere", ich finde das kurz gesagt pervers. Ich meine: Seit wann sind Kadaver etwas niedliches zum Knuddeln oder so?
Und Pelzfarmen ... naja, da muss man erst gar nicht drüber reden. :/
Im Großen und Ganzen kann ich dir guten Gewissens Recht geben.

im reading your journal the picture of the child is a good picture but the thought that she was taxidermyed is just well weird. im glad i cant see the stiching
