Midas, my hardy Umbreon. Houdini, my Alakazam and only remaining fighter from the original team, my most efficient team member ever since. My Murkrow Krawa with his feared Drill Peck-attack. Daboia, my Dunsparce, who might appear rather useless and like an adorkable snake, but might paralyse you without batting an eye. Ronin, the quickest Scyther you'll ever see. And last but not least, my beloved Lugia named Atticus, the proud king of the sea, willing to always save my arse with his amazing Aeroblast-attack.

After finishing Pokemon Red (the original one, not Firered) and completing the Pokedex, i went on and continued chronologically, replaying my Silver Edition.
Pokemon Silver has to be my favourite edition of them all. It just had the pefect balance. Sprites finally looked good from behind (remember those atrocious pixel-mutations in Red and Blue? Ffff), day and night-time, breeding, friendship, two regions and 16 badges to gain - SO much to do! Awesome.

Plus: Duel with Red, the protagonist from Pokemon Red. Most. EPIC. FIGHT. EVER
Think about it: You basically battle yourself in a way. THIS is how to do an awesome sequel, guys.


Also, it was the first time i had to open up my edition for battery change. Shit, that was scary, i was so afraid i'd break something. But it turned out super easy and now i could enjo the game just like i did back in 2001! 8D Man, time flies. I just relaised that Pokemon turned 20 recently. 20 YEARS, GUYS, and i had the privilege to experience it all from the very start, anno '99. Golly, it's crazy.
