I love how you gave this your trademark Thai-ish touch with the background and textures, as it fits their Asian origin story. I'm pretty sure they also visited Thailand at some point before they settled down in Europe.
I already have stories in my head about how they struggled with spicy Thai food and stuff, haha.
Their clothes turned out very elegant-looking too. The way the light reflects on them, and the little seam details. You got their facial expressions spot on too. It's like they are watching another target for money or food.
